Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
Client: GF Smith
Format: Perfect Bound Book
A redesigned version of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, communicating the content of the story through the use of warped typography, risograph printing, French binding and GF Smith papers.
The book aims to transport the viewer into Alice's wonderfully weird and warped world, with the original (readable) story printed within the French binding. If the viewer wishes to actually read the story, they can, but only by breaking open the folded page, in turn destroying the beautiful representation of Wonderland.
Risograph printed in Fluorescent Pink and Black onto Gmund Action Pastel Heart Attack and Colorplan Candy Pink & Bright White. Peregrina Majestic Petal endpapers. Thermographic detailing on the cover. Each copy is bound by hand using acid free, archival EVA adhesive. Edition of 50.
